Valorant Stutters

I re-installed Valorant a few weeks ago and ever since I have been getting these stutters in matches. Has anyone else had a similar issue and fixed it? I will leave my computer specs below, I don't have this issue in any game and have reinstalled multiple times to different drives (HDD and SSD) Specs: GPU: 3080ti ASUS CPU: Ryzen 5800x RAM: 16GB 3200mhz MOBO: Asus Strix B450-F PSU: 850W G5 EVGA

i was having a similar issue, though my pc specs are much weaker than yours, i believe i might have fixed it. basically all i did was open valorant, then open task manager -> details -> scroll down until you see the valorant tasks (picture below) then right click on both and change priority to real time

Thank you for all the help! I actually just discovered the issue tonight and have a theory on what was happening! I did this but it seemed to make no difference, but it was a good suggestion, thank you! The issue seemed to be a faulty USB connection, I have a USB webcam which was randomly losing and gaining connection. I noticed this through the hidden icons on the task bar with a "eject USB" symbol glitching out. My theory is that vanguard was causing my game to freeze due to scanning the new USB device and since it was disconnecting multiple times every few seconds it was causing massive stutters. Hopefully anyone else having a similar issue might find this thread useful. super rare scenario but hopefully this thread helps someone

that makes sense, actually. iirc, valorant would stutter and even crash sometimes if i disconnected my keyboard/headset

Hey I have the same issue with stuttering but I don’t think it’s a usb thing My theory is my computer is overheating which is causing some parts to like delay and make my thing stutter Like the dust in fans and stuff Do you think if I clean my pc out it could make a difference It seemed to work last time

whether it helps or not, cleaning your PC is always a good idea, make sure to also get the power supply fan depending how old your PC is, re-applying thermal paste could help as-well. Just make sure you are careful as old thermal paste can be like cement
