Only a few things can be done now but not much and you may have wasted your money.
Here are a few fixes which you can try :
1. Try to find a buyer, Am not sure how though, but if someone is interested you could sell your giftcard to them.
2. Find legit websites that buy giftcards, yep there are websites that buy giftcards
3. As far as i know, giftcards are not refundable, you could try making a ticket with riot, and ask them to put vp directly in your account, but its highly unlikely to happen.
