Storage problem

I wanted to clear up some storage on my pc, and most of it was coming from the pak files in the VALORANT folder. Can anyone tell me what exactly are "pak files" and should I delete them? (They're taking up 27.5 gb of storage)

pak are files that includes most of the game's essentials like graphics and stuff. so u should only delete them if ur not gonna play valorant again
