Alt tabbing causes permanent fps drop
I have been getting this problem for the past 2-3 days.
If i boot up the game and play normally, i get between 180-220fps, but the moment I alt tab and come back, even if no other app is running in the background, my max fps drops to like 110-120, with constant dips to 30-40fps...
Device: HP Omen 15 (2020)
Ryzen 7 4800H
RTX 2060
16GB RAM
All drivers are upto date, even GeForce experience and Logitech ones. Updated to Windows 10 22H2 around the same time as the problem started happening.

Lucky for you, I know exactly what is happening
If you go to your valorant settings and click on video, there will be a place that says "max fps." It lets you set the maximum fps for different things in the game. One of these things is "max fps in menus." Check and see what that is set to. You just have to make that a higher value.
It has nothing to do with your computer, just fully customizable settings
