This is when it's plugged directly into USB right, not into TRRS? I haven't seen that before. You could try clearing the EEPROM and flashing the default firmware.

Either your TRRS cable is too thin, the power trace on your nibble is damaged or overloaded, or something else related to the two.

Well, I feel a bit bad it took so much fiddling to get to this point!
Sorry about that, but glad we're back up and running. I should have had you check that initially, although it's strange the drivers disappeared at the same time!

All of the extra connections on the snap can lead to some strange behavior. more places for something to potentially not quite line up, I guess. Thanks for the solid troubleshooting, glad you're rolling again 👍
