Different agents work well for different people. What may be the best for someone else may not be the best for you depending on your playstyle and what you like
I'd recommend playing Replication, it's a good way to get a feel of different AGENTS even ones you do not have unlocked
Essentially all Agents are viable and work well. None of them are really considered throwing. Granted some are better than others, but typically no agent is so bad that you can't pick them.
