Creating Resume

Hello, this is my first time creating a resume as job finding students for internships are starting soon. I was wondering what size should my html page be so that the size if the page would work well when converting it into a pdf or printing paper size? Also how can I convert my resume website into a pdf? I been wondering since I saw many videos with front end created there resume or CV in html however they never show the width size or how they downloaded it into a pdf as they skip those parts or never shown it.
