Valo errors after updating to the new patch.
After updating to the new patch, i started getting the van 1067 error, which when i googled, had to do something with secure boot and tpm( i checked and have both enabled, i am still on windows 10). Later on i reinstalled the game and vanguard. Still the same error. Found out later that vgc service wasn't running. Tried running it and launching valo, this caused the vgc service to stop working again and show the same error. One time the vgc service didn't crash it started showing me another random error. I haven't been able to get into the game at all after the patch. Tried everything I could thik of.

Yeah
That s helpful
Alright so, i do have tpm 2.0, no option related to tpm in bios at all. Secure boot is enabled. I reset the keys which led to me having to pull out my bitlocker key. Now i am booted back up
Guess what
Still the same error
Vgc service was running on startup but crashed after launching valo
you reset the secureboot factory keys and its enrolled?
Idk what you mean by it's enrolled
I reset the keys and booted up my lap again
It asked me for my bitlocker key
wait
did you just get your bitlocker key or reset the secureboot key
I just got my key from my Microsoft account
Had that happen to my older pc so knew how to do it
so you didnt go into bios and reset the secureboot keys?
I did get into the bios
And did reset the keys
I got bitlocker after that
Like launching my lap after resetting the keys
I forced vgc to run again automatically if it crashed and this error shows up

Van 0
then secureboot is fixed atleast
Secure boot was always working
It changed nothing
no it wasnt
1067 is a tpm and secureboot issue
now you have 0
I still got 1067
I am getting 0 when i force vgc to automatically start
After it crashes
When i launch valo
so
what happens
when you just normally launch val
currently
Screen freezes for a bit and then 1067
huh
1067 even though both tpm and secureboot are active
may as well double check bios again to see if its active
Done
Twice
but its active and not just enabled?
Game was working fine before the latest patch
correct
hm
No option for tpm in bios
Looked it up on google
Says Asus laptops have it enabled
And not in bios
supposedly there is a trusted computing area
Yea it isn't there
Checked already
and you did spec version and its on and 2.0
Yup
i guess i would suggest reinstalling vanguard or repairing your val install?
And did I mention i am on windows 10
what
Did that yesterday
that doesnt even have a 1067 requirement
Mhm
What i was wondering in the first place
I mentioned win 10 here
you reinstalled val fully already?
Yup
I have had this as soon as I patched
Been trying various things since yesterday
damn im sorry but maybe just make a valorant ticket on the official site
maybe some bs compatibility issue in the update
Maybe this is my cue to update to win 11
š
@thrill32 just updated to win 11. Same shit
Nothing changed
Idk then sorry
maybe make a ticket
try updating GPU DRIVERS
i did, they told me to go back to win 10....
i did manage to get valo started. it got to the main screen but then showed the same 1067 error as soon as vgc crashed. T-T
