Can't join server 2 anymore?
It says the following "The Cfx.re platform version this server is using has reached end-of-life status"
Anyone know what to do?

You need to change your version of the game to the new updated version

But I just did, and reinstalled FiveM already. But it seems to work now by joining through f8

why would you reinstall FiveM when it's very obvious that it's a server-sided issue?
reinstalling fixes nothing 99.9% of the time, same goes for clearing cache

But not just on RSM, and the last time I did that, it actually worked

But how does that explain that after reinstalling, I don't have lag spikes as bad as before?
contrary to what people believe and tell others to do, clearing cache and reinstalling only creates more problems
it's often good to have patience and wait a while before doing anything extreme like that

But I'm joining now, so the problem with that is over. Now see how my game runs
no clue? it's still the same software before and after the reinstall, so as I said, it's very likely to be a placebo effect where in this case your network conditions improved compared to pre-reinstall

if you mean lag spikes as in FPS, it's probably because your internet connection is too slow to download custom content that would usually take a toll on your FPS, but that's a complete guess

Yeah kind of. It's like normal and i got no problems. But sometimes I go from 120fps to like 30 for a second and then back. Not when in meets or something but when driving. Makes it not drivable sometimes
specially when busy
clearing your cache will force your client to re-download every custom asset from the server, so people will be invisible until whatever content that they're using has streamed
that is the only thing that it does, the "benefits" are either placebos (i.e straight up bs) or temporary side effects of having no custom content loaded

I know, but that doesn't take that long really
When spawning a car now, it takes maybe 3 seconds before it appears
reinstalling and clearing cache both have absolutely nothing to do with your connection to the server

I know, but the connection isn't really the problem I think. My ping is usually around 30 to 60 ms, and loading things in goes almost instant
so long as you're running both GTAV and FiveM on an SSD, have exactly or more than 16GB of RAM with a decent CPU/GPU combo, you'll be fine
