Hey @Atif -- I left a Web Terminal open all day today to my dev workspace to try and replicate your issue -- I normally work over SSH, so it went unused all day. There was only one disconnect which was due to a Coder deployment, and the workspace stayed up for me.
Did you have any luck reproducing the issue?
Hi @Cian i also couldn't reproduce it. May be we can close it for now. As it's not reproducible.
But what is that state when it's running and disconnected?
Thanks for confirming 🙂
At the risk of sounding flippant, it's exactly as it sounds -- the workspace was running last it told us, but it has since disconnected. It would probably be useful to see how long the workspace was in that state. As to why it happened, there are so many potential reasons. If the Docker container died unexpectedly, that would be one possibility. Another possibility is that the agent lost connection, or got killed for some reason inside the container. Without more information, it's hard to say for sure!
I'm going to go ahead and close the issue for the moment, we can open another one if we find steps to reproduce.
