How to prevent people from spamming my slash commands

I've already tried with 1s cooldown but that doesn't work cause discord takes pretty long to pass the interaction to me cause its getting spammed so the cooldown will just be like yeh its more than 1s ago that ive received an interaction but the user just spammed them ill send vid so its clear
