ABS bed adhesion issues
Does anybody have an idea, why I have these intermittent adhesion problems with my print sheet?
The Filament is Flashforge ABS and the sheet is the one that came with the VC3.
I have tried cleaning it thoroughly (soap, water, IPA) and have tweaked my Z height and bed temps to no avail.
Could the PEI just be end of life/damaged at that location?
Does anybody know of good print sheets for ABS use?...
weird extrusion
As you can see on both calibration cubes the lines seem to be weird at a certain height.
Printing PA-CF
@lemcott During flow tuning test for this PA-CF filament, I print a 30x30mm square 3mm high with 2 bottom, some infill and 10 top layers (Ellis' tuning guide), but it comes loose. Probe offset is good (nice first layer squish). print surface is textured PEI sheet, its clean and I am using 3dlac as well. It still comes off (i literally never had issues before). Bed temp is 50C. Should I try higher bed temps for this stuff, or perhaps it needs a larger surface (ie, use a brim)?
Weird First Layer Anomaly
I've been having this issue for a while and cant put my finger on it. uses adaptive bed mesh and prints brim and boundaries fine but as it does the infill it slowly get closer to the bed to the point of not extruding anything?

VCORE 500 - Is the mesh taken in account ?

I noticed since few months now, my vcore 500 doesn't seem to compensate the bed's shape.
It probes every time as per settings, however, I can clearly notice one side of the bed where the filament is squished and on the other side, there is massive gaps (see picture)...
Sparse infill speed modifier not working on certain parts
Quite some time ago i posted this issue on the superlicer github. It has not gotten any attention so i am posting it here wondering if someone has experience with these more advanced settings. This modifier seem to work sometimes on other parts but cannot figure out why.

top surface pattern
Getting a ripple effect on the top surface almost like the layers below are coming threw.
I have seen this on my other printers on the second layer only. Seems to keep stacking on my second printer. Both are running same extruder setup etc.

Failed print
Last few prints before this came out good, extrudes fine, what could have happened? Bondtech LGX Lite + Phaetus Rapido HF.
I noticed when doing a cold pull after this print that the hotend fan doesnt sound very healthy....
1 x 5015 not enough right.
i printed a benchy and while my tuning is going the right direction. i still get a fail here and its def part cooling right ?
Print bed adhesion because of worn print bed?

For a few days now, I can't print on my V-Minion because the print bed adheres poorly or not at all when I print a simple square without a brim. I cleaned the bed with dish soap and isopropanol. Calibrated the Z-offset and did a PID tune. And this happened with several different PLAs that worked fine before.
I don't know what to check next. Is it possible that the print bed is worn out?...
New Printer First Layer Under Extrusion?
Just setup a new VCore 3.1 running RatOS, Orbitor 2.0, Revo Micro (with 0.6 nozzle), OrcaSlicer and getting what looks to me like under extrusion. This is my first Klipper based system, and while it was great to be able to pull in the pre canned configs for most of my parts, it feels odd to me that I didn't have to do things like tune extrusion steps or extrusion length like I'm used haha.
I played with the "Fine tune" menu taking extrusion up to +106% but didn't see any improvement, I then backed off the Z offset which also didnt show improvement (that's where the print started to fail). This is my first printer using PEI so I'm a bit scared to push the offset lower given the paper test during PROBE_CALIBRATE felt pretty good. Any ideas, what nobs should I be turning in Klipper?...
Retraction settings 0.6 nozzle cant seem to get it right
ive tuned pressure advance and now im struggling with retraction settings. when i used 0.4 nozzle it was fine. but 0.6 just has stringing. Im only using 1 5015 blower fan as part cooling maybe this also makes it string more
V-minion top layer ridges
Hey, maybe you know what is causing these ridges on the top layer? It seems less noticeable with certain plastics, but it generally always appears.

strange lines of low flow
Can anyone explain these lines in my prints? It’s like the flow rate drops.

Using superslicer, i get this bad underextrusion, pla, 205 temp. Calibrated pressure advance, and got adxl on, not on a v high speed. Lgx-lite, rapido.
What could be the problem ?...
Out of the Blue unable to connect to mcu...
Ok.. i'm at a loss as to what happened and why. I have a Rat 500, all metal hotend and I printed 2 or 3 things yesterday, including mount for the BTT SFS V2.0. I hooked up the new SFS, plugged it in as shown in the document. All seem's good, the Dashboard showed the sensor and showed it had filament. I decided to check if I had any updates that were needed before starting a print...there were a couple so i applied them and now I can't get the pi to connect to the mcu, but yet, when i go to the http://ratos.local/configure?step=1 and in the upper right hand side and under Moonraker I choose flash all attached MCU's and it goes through and flashes and says successfuly flashed attached 1/1 mcu. I reboot and still the problem is there. Here is what log file is showing. Any help is greatly appreciated

Voids in layer after detail change
I have some tendrils due to retraction but that's not what I'm worried about.
I don't know what to make of those void layers after the hole starts on the front of the boat. But only at the start, the rest of the hull is fine.
It's not pressure advance, I tested without PA turned on and it was still an issue....
